March 12 - Romeo and Juliet vs. West Side Story
The story of history's most famous star-crossed lovers told through the lens of three different composers. SBSO performs ballet music from Romeo and Juliet by Sergei Prokofiev, the captivating Fantasy Overture by Pytor Illych Tchaikovsky, and selections from West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein.



May 14 - An Intimate Evening of Chamber Music
SBSO principal strings join with the radiant Lyris Quartet to perform the music of Maurice Ravel, Billy Childs, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Imogen Heap. An extraordinary sonic journey!



June 11 - An Intimate Evening of Classical Piano
Internationally acclaimed pianist Robert Thies - the only American to win a Russian piano competition since Van Cliburn's famed triumph in Moscow in 1958 - performs the music of Schumann, Brahms, Vlasse, Rachmaninoff, and Debussy as SBSO principals join in on the fun.



July 2 - America, the Beautiful
Join your SBSO for a Summer Patriotic Pops concert celebrating Independence Day with the music of America, culminating with Tchaikovsky's bombastic and exhilarating 1812 Overture! 



September 10 - An Intimate Evening of Jazz
Jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader John Nelson and his All-Star Jazz Quartet delve into one of the greatest musical collaborations of the 20th century: the iconic music of jazz legends Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. Principal members of the SBSO join Josh for a stunning evening of jazz.



October 29 - Movies with the Maestro
Maestro Parnther shares his favorite film and TV scores including John Williams' iconic music from E.T. and Star Wars, Bernard Herrmann's riveting scores for Psycho and North by Northwest, Kris Bower's score to Bridgerton, and the music of Elmer Bernstein, Bruce Broughton, John Powell, and John Barry.



December 17 - Cirque de la Noel
Cirque del la Symphonie amazes audiences with the skills of acrobats, aerialists, contortionists, jugglers, and strongmen! Bring the entire family and experience this captivating evening ofd gravitational feats while the SBSO performs your favorite holiday classics!
