‘Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber’ is a magical journey

Music by one of the world’s greatest theatrical composers, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and from such hit shows as “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Evita” and “Cats,” are featured in concert April 20-22, 2012, at the California Theatre of the Performing Arts in San Bernardino, 562 W. Fourth St.

“The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber” also will include music from the shows “Jesus Christ Superstar,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and “Love Never Dies.”

Webber, knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1992, has composed 13 stage musicals, as well as film scores. He is the winner of an Academy Award, seven Tony Awards and three Grammys.

His songs include “The Music of the Night” from “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Don’t Cry for Me, Argentina,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” from “Jesus Christ Superstar,” and “Memory” from “Cats.” He also is the composer of “Tell Me on a Sunday,” “Starlight Express” and “Sunset Boulevard.

Season tickets for four Theatrical Arts International shows – “The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber,” “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion,

the Witch and the Wardrobe” “42nd Street” and

“The Joy Luck Club” – are $103-$223.
